Publisher and contact
Don't Wake Salaryman (jp.salaryman.app) is an iPhone game published by Marcin Korzeniowski, trading as CODEVERTURE, who is responsible for the publisher-side processing described here. For personal data enquiries, contact hello@codeverture.jp. Country: Japan. The controller’s business address is made available without undue delay at the request of the person whose data is concerned.
Game progress and settings
The game stores the state needed to resume a run, progress, results and records, unlocked collection items, the selected outfit, and sound, music and haptic settings on your device. It also remembers completion of the tutorial. Submission confirmations for Game Center are stored locally for each player and leaderboard to prevent duplicates and retry submissions. The game has no separate player-account system or its own server for storing progress or leaderboards. Backups managed by Apple may include app data, depending on your settings.
The game does not request access to contacts, the camera, microphone, photos or precise location. Station names and routes in the game do not represent measurements of your location.
Apple Game Center
Game Center is active and optional. You can connect from the home screen using Apple GameKit. The game displays your Game Center player name and submits eligible Endless scores and the current Daily result to Apple leaderboards. The Daily result is the number of successful returns home together with the rules-version context. Scores are linked to your Game Center identity and may be visible to other players according to your Apple settings. The game also works offline without Game Center.
The game keeps local submission confirmations for each player and leaderboard to avoid duplicates and retry when needed. It has no own account or leaderboard server. You can manage your Game Center account and sharing settings in iOS Settings. Deleting local game data does not delete scores held by Apple. See Game Center & Privacy.
Advertising
Don’t Wake Salaryman uses Google AdMob to display ads. Full-screen ads may appear between completed rides, not while you are riding. Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) handles consent and privacy choices required in relevant regions. The availability of consent-management options depends on your region and the advertising configuration in the version of the game you use. Advertising choices are separate from the game’s analytics setting.
Showing ads may involve processing data through Google’s advertising SDK. Depending on configuration, permissions and consent, this may include your IP address and approximate location inferred from it, device or app identifiers, advertising interactions, and diagnostic and performance data. These support ad delivery and measurement, fraud prevention and service operation. The current build does not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission; that does not mean no advertising data is processed.
Details are provided in the Google Privacy Policy, information about partner websites and apps, and Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure. Advertising data is processed by Google and relevant service providers under their policies; the publisher does not store raw SDK advertising data on its own server.
Analytics and crash diagnostics
Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics are off by default. You can enable them by a separate choice in the game settings to measure game use and detect and fix crashes, and withdraw that choice there. Neither an advertising choice in UMP nor connecting to Game Center enables Firebase. Withdrawal stops further Analytics collection; the change to automatic Crashlytics reports takes effect the next time you launch the game. Withdrawal does not delete data previously sent to Google.
After you opt in, Analytics records app events such as launches and sessions, as well as gameplay events configured in the game. These may include numerical ride scores, fictional taxi fares (not real payments), sleep duration and number of peeks. Analytics processes an app-instance identifier, device and operating-system information, and an approximate region derived from the IP address. Crashlytics may send crash traces, app state, device and OS information, and Firebase and Crashlytics installation identifiers. Crash reports may include events leading up to a crash. Google receives this data, and the publisher uses the reports to improve the game and its stability.
Google may process data outside Japan and your country. According to Google, Crashlytics retains reports and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal; Analytics retention depends on the service settings. Correspondence and support
If you write to the publisher, your email address and the information you provide are used to handle your enquiry, including technical support and privacy requests. The email provider processes correspondence to deliver and store messages. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. Correspondence is retained for the time needed to handle the matter and any additional period necessary for security, legal obligations or claims. It is not used to create a marketing mailing list.
Purposes and recipients
Processing supports local game features, progress and settings storage, optional Game Center leaderboards, result images you choose to share, ad delivery and measurement, and, after a separate choice in settings, game-use analysis and crash diagnostics. It also supports correspondence and security. The Firebase choice is voluntary and can be withdrawn in the game settings. Advertising consents required by law are handled separately through UMP. Depending on the activity and applicable law, other legal bases may include providing a requested service, legitimate interests in handling correspondence and protecting services, and compliance with legal obligations. These bases do not replace consent where it is required.
Apple receives Game Center player information and submitted scores, and may process data through system services you choose, including backups. Google processes advertising and consent data through AdMob and UMP, as well as analytics data and crash reports through Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics after your separate choice. Relevant advertising providers may also receive advertising data. The email provider processes messages you send to the publisher. People or services you select receive material shared from the game. These parties may process data outside your country; their privacy information describes processing locations, safeguards, retention and request channels.
Retention, choices and rights
Local game data, including Game Center submission confirmations, remains on your device until deleted with the app or through available device features. Offloading while keeping data may preserve saves, and restoring a backup may restore progress. Removing local data does not remove Game Center scores held by Apple. You manage images saved or shared outside the game in their save location or the service you selected. Retention in Apple, Google and other services you choose is governed by those providers’ policies.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of data, restrict processing, object, withdraw consent and complain to a data-protection authority. Send requests concerning data processed by the publisher to hello@codeverture.jp. Provide only the information needed to identify the matter. Proportionate identity verification may be necessary; requests are handled within legally required time limits. For data controlled by Apple, Google or a sharing service you choose, use its settings and contact channels. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Children and guardians
A parent or guardian with a question about a child’s data in Don't Wake Salaryman can contact hello@codeverture.jp. Do not provide information about the child beyond what is necessary to explain the matter. Apple parental controls can help manage access to apps and system features.
Security and changes
Technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature and risk of processing are applied. No internet service can guarantee complete security. The policy may change as the game and its services evolve. The current version and update date will be available on the policy page. Where required, material changes will be communicated and new consent obtained before new optional processing begins.
