Publisher and contact
Tokyo Spill (jp.tokyospill.app) is an iPhone game published by Marcin Korzeniowski, trading as CODEVERTURE, who is responsible for the publisher-side processing described here. For personal data enquiries, contact hello@codeverture.jp. Country: Japan. The controller’s business address is made available without undue delay at the request of the person whose data is concerned.
Game progress and settings
The game stores unlocked levels, delivery records, collected stamps, the selected bowl, recent Endless results, and sound and music settings on your device. It also stores scores awaiting submission to Game Center, associated with your Game Center player identifier. Tokyo Spill does not operate a separate player-account system or its own server for storing progress. Backups managed by Apple may include app data, depending on your settings.
The game does not request access to contacts, the camera, microphone, photos or precise location.
Apple Game Center
Game Center is optional: you can play and save results locally without using it. If you use Game Center while signed in, the game submits your best Endless distance to Apple’s leaderboard. Apple associates the score with your Game Center profile. Your nickname, avatar and score may be visible to other players. Deleting local data does not delete scores held by Apple.
You can manage your Game Center account and sharing settings in iOS Settings. Information about processing and available choices is provided in Game Center & Privacy.
Advertising and consent
Tokyo Spill uses Google AdMob to display occasional full-screen advertisements between attempts. Ads do not interrupt an active delivery or Endless run. Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) handles regional consent and privacy choices. When the option is available, you can revisit these choices in the game’s settings using the ad consent entry (“Manage ad consent” in English).
The game requests non-personalised ads. This does not mean that no data is processed. Depending on configuration, permissions and consent, Google’s advertising SDK may process your IP address and approximate location inferred from it, device or app identifiers, advertising interactions, and diagnostic and performance data. These support ad delivery and measurement, fraud prevention and service operation.
Details are provided in the Google Privacy Policy, information about partner websites and apps, and Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosure. Advertising data is processed by Google and relevant service providers under their policies; the publisher does not store raw SDK advertising data on its own server.
Analytics and crash diagnostics
Tokyo Spill uses Google Analytics for Firebase to measure use of the game and Firebase Crashlytics to detect and fix crashes.
Analytics records app events such as launches and sessions, as well as gameplay events configured in the game. It processes an app-instance identifier, device and operating-system information, and an approximate region derived from the IP address. Crashlytics may send crash traces, app state, device and OS information, and Firebase and Crashlytics installation identifiers. Crash reports may include events leading up to a crash. Google receives this data, and the publisher uses the reports to improve the game and its stability.
Google may process data outside Japan and your country. According to Google, Crashlytics retains reports and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal; Analytics retention depends on the service settings. More information: Privacy and Security in Firebase, Analytics data collection and Analytics data retention.
Correspondence and support
If you write to the publisher, your email address and the information you provide are used to handle your enquiry, including technical support and privacy requests. The email provider processes correspondence to deliver and store messages. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. Correspondence is retained for the time needed to handle the matter and any additional period necessary for security, legal obligations or claims. It is not used to create a marketing mailing list.
Purposes and recipients
Processing supports the game features you choose, local progress storage, optional leaderboards, permitted advertising, game-use analysis, crash diagnostics, support and service security. Where the law requires consent, it is obtained before the relevant optional processing. Depending on the activity and applicable law, other legal bases may include providing a requested service, legitimate interests in handling correspondence and protecting services, and compliance with legal obligations. These bases do not replace consent where it is required.
Recipients include Apple for Game Center, Google for advertising, consent, analytics and crash diagnostics, relevant advertising providers, and the publisher’s email provider. Processing may take place outside your country. Information about processing locations, safeguards, retention and how to make requests is available in these providers’ privacy documents.
Retention, choices and rights
Local game data remains on your device until deleted with the app or through available device features. Offloading the app while retaining its data may preserve saves, and restoring a backup may restore progress. Retention in Apple and Google services is governed by those providers’ policies.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of data, restrict processing, object, withdraw consent and complain to a data-protection authority. Send requests concerning data processed by the publisher to hello@codeverture.jp. Provide only the information needed to identify the matter. Proportionate identity verification may be necessary; requests are handled within legally required time limits. For data controlled by Apple or Google, their privacy documents identify the relevant account settings and contact channels. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Children and guardians
A parent or guardian with a question about a child’s data in Tokyo Spill can contact hello@codeverture.jp. Do not provide additional information about the child beyond what is necessary to explain the matter. Apple parental controls and Game Center settings can help manage access to Apple features.
Security and changes
Technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature and risk of processing are applied. No internet service can guarantee complete security. The policy may change as the game and its services evolve. The current version and update date will be available on the policy page. Where required, material changes will be communicated and new consent obtained before new optional processing begins.
